The purpose of the webinars was to provide the public with information about electrifying Maryland’s transportation sector and solicit opinions on electric vehicles and EV charging stations.
During the webinar, MDOT:
- Provided an overview of the benefits of electrification.
- Shared information on EV programs, including the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program.
- Highlighted resources where EV owners and newcomers to electrification can learn more.
- Gathered feedback on transportation electrification programs.
