Maryland NEVI Plan

Under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), States were required to develop and submit an Electric Vehicle (EV) Deployment Plan (NEVI Plan) describing how the State intends to use its apportioned NEVI Formula Funds by August 1, 2022. Each State must also annually update its NEVI Plan. These updates are known as NEVI Plan Updates. NEVI Formula Funds cannot be obligated until the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) approves the State’s NEVI Plan and Plan Updates each year.
