NEVI Round 3 Conditional Awards
On August 18, 2026, the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) issued a press release to announce conditional awards under Round 3 of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program. Conditional awards have been issued for 5 project sites in 5 counties within Maryland. These projects will use about $3.7 million in federal investments to install 24 public, convenient, and reliable Direct Current (DC) fast charging ports along the state’s designated electric vehicle (EV) Alternative Fuel Corridors.

On October 28, 2025, MDOT issued a press release to announce conditional awards under Round 2 of the NEVI Program. Conditional awards have been issued for 12 project sites in 12 counties within Maryland. These projects will use over $9.5 million in federal investments to install 48 public, convenient, and reliable Direct Current (DC) fast charging ports along the state’s designated EV Alternative Fuel Corridors.

On July 10, 2024, Governor Wes Moore issued a press release to announce conditional awards under NEVI Program Round 1. Final awards have been issued for 15 project sites in 11 counties within Maryland. These projects will use nearly $6.5 million in federal investments to install 102 public, convenient, and reliable DC fast chargers along the state’s designated EV Alternative Fuel Corridors.
