NEVI Round 2 Request for Proposals (RFP)
On December 17, 2024, MDOT issued a press release announcing the release of Maryland’s NEVI Round 2 RFP. The RFP will close on March 26, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
MDOT hosted a virtual Pre-Proposal Conference on January 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST. Presentation materials, including a transcript, from the Pre-Proposal Conference are available on eMMA.

Maryland NEVI Program Round 1
NEVI Round 1 Conditional Awards
On July 10, 2024, Governor Wes Moore issued a press release to announce conditional awards for 23 projects spanning 15 counties in Maryland. These projects will use over $12.1 million in federal investments to install public, convenient, and reliable DC fast chargers along the state’s designated EV Alternative Fuel Corridors.
